Booking a Locale
Can I bring my pets?
We love pets, but unfortunately our Locales do not allow pets. Service animals are welcome. Please let us know prior to your stay if you plan to bring yours along.
Is parking included?
Parking options vary by property, but are usually available for an additional nightly fee. Parking instructions will be included in your confirmation or arrival instructions prior to check-in.
What if I need to cancel or modify my reservation?
We understand that things can change. Our cancellation policy varies per type of booking.
For refundable rate plans, you may cancel until three days before check-in for a full refund. If you cancel after that, your full reservation is non-refundable.
For extended stays of 30 nights or more, the first 30 nights of the reservation are due upon booking. To receive a refund, you must cancel within 48 hours of booking and the cancellation must occur at least 30 days before check-in. If you cancel after that, or if your booking is within 30 days of arrival, the first 30 nights are non-refundable. Guests that cancel mid-stay will be charged the next 30 nights of their stay, but can be refunded any remaining nights thereafter.
What’s required when I make a reservation?
Guests booking rooms must provide valid, government-issued photo identification at least 24 hours before check-in. We will also require a credit card for incidentals prior to your arrival. Reservation holders must be 21 or older for a reservation to be considered valid.
How do I book a Locale?
Check out our locations and book directly online. You can also call or email us if you need assistance making a reservation.
Checking in
Is there anything I need to do at checkout?
You'll most likely just leave anything we’ve provided for you in your apartment and be on your way - but each property is slightly different. We’ll send you an email with check-out instructions before you leave!
Can I store my luggage?
Currently we do not offer any onsite luggage storage options. We recommend Bounce or other similar storage services if available.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is after 4:00 pm.
Checkout is before 11:00am.
Early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional fee. Please reach out to our team to discuss options.
How can I access my room?
You’ll receive arrival codes and instructions on your arrival date before check-in time. After 4pm, simply follow the instructions to enter your apartment. Please note that on-site leasing teams are not equipped to answer any Locale inquires.
Where’s the front desk?
Locale is unique in that we allow our guests the freedom of self-check-in! We do not operate a traditional front desk. Once it is check-in time, you can go directly to your apartment.
Staying with us
Can I bring my pet to my corporate housing stay?
We welcome dogs at Locale for corporate housing guests. There is a limit of two dogs per apartment, with a weight limit of 50lbs per pet. We are not able to accommodate aggressive breeds such as Pitbulls, Rottweilers, Doberman, Boxers, German Shepherds, Bull Mastiffs, Staffordshire Terriers or Wolf hybrids. There will be a one-time non-refundable pet deposit of $500 per pet due at booking. In addition, there is a pet rent of $50/pet per month that will be added to your monthly rent bill.
What amenities can I use?
Locale guests can use any of the building’s amenities subject to restrictions outlined at booking or in your confirmation email. Please follow all community rules including quiet hours.
Is smoking allowed inside my Locale?
Smoking is not allowed onsite or in any Locale unit, including balconies and patios. A $500 fee will be charged for violations and you will be evicted from the property.
Do you have recommendations of things to do?
Whether you’re in town for a few days or a few weeks, we're happy to give you recommendations for some of our favorite spots around the city!

Can I mail myself a package?
Locale uses a virtual front desk, so we are unable to accept any package deliveries. We recommend that you have your package shipped to a nearby UPS store, FedEx store, or Amazon Locker. Please note, Locale is not liable for the loss of or damage to any packages.
Is there daily housekeeping?
We provide hotel-standard cleaning prior to your arrival. There is not daily housekeeping, however we do provide mid-stay cleaning for an additional fee (complimentary cleaning every two weeks for corporate housing guests). Contact us for details.
Is staying with Locale truly like living at home?
We hope so! From the residential developments we partner with, to the hand-picked products and furnishing that go into all of our apartments, we hope you feel right at home.
All Locale apartments include private kitchens with high-end coffee and tea, in-unit laundry, fresh towels and other bathroom essentials (hairdryer, make-up towels, shampoo, and conditioner) and closet necessities (iron, ironing board, and hangers).
Our apartments also feature some of our favorite consumer brands (ones that we actually use in our homes!), like Grown Alchemist, Public Goods, Art of Tea, and Fellow. They also include smart TVs, high-speed internet, and smart thermostats.
